Setting up a direct debit

You can also pay online, by telephone or at your bank. Visit our payment webpage for more details.
Support for residents facing financial hardship
Most people on income support, guaranteed pension credit, or very low incomes will continue to have the cost of their council tax fully covered by council tax support. Others will have their council tax support recalculated to reflect their revised bills.
If you are applying for Universal Credit for the first time, you need to apply for a Council tax reduction.
If you think you may find it difficult to pay money to the Council, please contact us as soon as possible so we can work out the best way to help you make your payments.
