Peter has lived in Oxted since 1986. He is married with two grown-up children and one granddaughter.
During his career he was a university lecturer and a research director with a major commercial property adviser. Since retiring he has been involved with several voluntary and charitable organisations. He is Chairman of the Ethical Property Foundation, a small charity that provides advice and education on property matters for charities. He was elected a Parish Councillor in May 2019.
