Oxted War Memorial

Oxted Parish Council is pleased to announce that the refurbishment of the Oxted War Memorial will, weather permitting, commence the week beginning 16th April.  The Parish Council is funding the refurbishment of the memorial.

Council agrees district council tax increase of 2.99% Last night’s Council meeting agreed an increase of £2.99% (for a Band D property) in Tandridge District Council’s share of the council tax for 2018/2019. Oxted War Memorial at Master Park

Oxted Parish Council has been liaising with the War Memorial Trust since 2016 to raise the funds to restore the Oxted War Memorial in time for Armistice in 2018.  Progress is being made and the Trust now has all the information and photographic evidence it requires to make a decision.  Oxted Parish Council has funds set aside for the cleaning and restoration should the funds  not be available from the War Memorial Trust.

Council to withdraw compulsory purchase order for former Rose and Young site

The Council has decided to withdraw the Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) issued for the former Rose and Young site in Caterham. The Council is confident the owner and Clarion Housing Group (CHG) are close to exchanging contracts. CHG is a company committed to providing affordable housing. Voters urged to send electoral information back promptly

Residents in the Tandridge District are being sent a form asking them to check whether the information which appears on the electoral register for those living at their address is correct. A response is needed from every household even if there are no changes.
