Oxted War Memorial at Master Park

Oxted Parish Council has been liaising with the War Memorial Trust since 2016 to raise the funds to restore the Oxted War Memorial in time for Armistice in 2018.  Progress is being made and the Trust now has all the information and photographic evidence it requires to make a decision.  Oxted Parish Council has funds set aside for the cleaning and restoration should the funds  not be available from the War Memorial Trust.

Council to withdraw compulsory purchase order for former Rose and Young site

The Council has decided to withdraw the Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) issued for the former Rose and Young site in Caterham. The Council is confident the owner and Clarion Housing Group (CHG) are close to exchanging contracts. CHG is a company committed to providing affordable housing. Residents in the Tandridge District are being sent a form asking them to check whether the information which appears on the electoral register for those living at their address is correct. A response is needed from every household even if there are no changes. Hurst Green Sign

The old Hurst Green sign has recently been removed and stored away.  The condition of the approval of the planning permission for the new sign was that the old sign had to be removed.  The removal has taken far longer than anticipated however it had to be undertaken. Line your food waste bin with plastic bags

Just to make you aware residents can now line their food waste caddy with plastic bags or liners, which makes it easier, cleaner and cheaper to recycle food waste.
